Restorative nursing is designed to help maintain the functional ability of those residents who are no longer in an acute or short-term rehabilitation program. Directed and implemented by a registered nurse and specialized aides, restorative nursing focuses on the therapeutic use of simulated life activities to help restore daily living skills.
